Pour les Oiseaux

Stephen Boocks is a muscian and painter who lives and works in Roxbury, NY. In October 2025, Boocks retired from is nearly 25 year career in the wine and spirits industry, relocating from the metro DC area to the Catskills to focus fulltime on his music and painting full-time.

As he was always busy with the demands of his job, he founded Pour les Oiseaux Records to release his own music. Since his work and family committments allowed very little time to promote his albums he joked that he made music "for the birds." 

With more time on his hands, Boocks plans to add other muscians to the label and begin releasing music on physical media (LP and CD).
